Just set up the latest version today; 3.1.30.7P, on latest WP build; 3.5.1, and even with all plugins disabled, and theme set to WP default 2012, issue still present. I register for an event, checkout with paypal, and then a flood of dozens of duplicate emails comes.. what could be causing this?

Thanks for any tips.

I was getting this because the “Thank You” page had been accidentally deleted. Once I restored this page the number of emails went down significantly!

I did have the thank you page set to ‘private’ i published it and tried again and still receiving hundreds of emails. they actually never stop. I’m getting like a dozen an hour for days now..

any other tips? how do I request official support?

Hi Ihstiv,

I didn’t receive any emails on registering for an event, but that could be because I didn’t pay.

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via http://staging.eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level.

Hi Dean,
It looks like this has sorted itself out!

I’m not exactly sure what fixed it, but it could be that making all the default pages ‘published’ instead of ‘private’ is what fixed it, but it took a couple days to stop sending emails from the previous registrations..?

Who knows, it seems to be working as expected now, so that’s all that matters I guess.

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry I missed that you had set the thank you page to private, my bad. Yes that will do it, the four main pages can be hidden from the navigation but they cannot have access blocked to them (like being set to private).

Glad it is sorted!
