We have had customers receive an error saying “order did not go through”. They redo the payment process, and are charged twice. Today we had a customer charged three times within 10 seconds. We are using Stripe as our payment system. Is there anything that can put a stop to this?
“Order did not go through” is not an error message that Event Espresso uses, so it may be an issue elsewhere. Is there a way you can reproduce this by testing it? I’m not able to reproduce the issue on my test server.
One thing that may help is updating to the latest version of Event Espresso. There’s been a few tweaks to the JavaScript on the payment page to help warn the customer not to hit the back button to avoid double charges/overwriting their registration.
