This used to work fine, for some odd reason I see two calendars on the page: http://d37.staging.wpengine.com/district-calendar/

I disabled all plugins with the exception of Event Espresso – Calendar and Event Espresso. Using the latest versions. As I said, this is an existing page and did not change in several months.

Thank you,

Jake

Hi Jake,

Unfortunately I can’t access the site ‘Forbidden – Users from your country are not permitted to browse this site.’

Usually this is caused by having the Calendar Widget on the same page as the Main Calendar.

On the Appearance -> Widgets. Under Event Espresso Calendar Widget. You’ll see the following options http://d.pr/i/yz1Y

Input the Calendar Page url http://d37.staging.wpengine.com/district-calendar/ to stop the widget from being loaded on that page. If it is this causing it the problem, that should stop it.

Tony,

What country are you located in? We can open our firewall to let you see our website.

I already had the widget configured with the calendar page. Could the problem result from having the widget placed in the footer and being displayed on every page?

I removed the widget from the footer and the problem was solved. Thank you for the pointer. Let me know your country.

Thank you,

Jake

Hi Jake,

I’m in the UK.

The widget and main calendar are effectively identical, although one is slightly smaller than the other :) therefore only one instance of the calendar can be on any page at a time without conflict.

This is something we are working on in Event Espresso 4+

Ok, I opened the firewall for UK. You should be able to see the website.

Thank you for your help,

Jake
