Display short description w/Custom Template addon

I am using the “Custom Template Addon” events-table template, how to get the short description to display along with the event name?

Hi,

That template isn’t designed to have descriptions, but if you are ok editing the template file you could add them in.

Line 96 says

<td id="event_title-<?php echo $event->id?>" class="event_title"><?php echo stripslashes_deep($event->event_name) ?></td>

Change it to 

<td id="event_title-<?php echo $event->id?>" class="event_title"><?php echo stripslashes_deep($event->event_name) ?><br /><?php echo stripslashes_deep($event->event_desc); ?></td>

Only issue is that the code does not allow the use of the more tag, so unless you added more code to limit it by character count, then it will display the full description.
