I’m having a few problems with the discounting system:

1. Volume discount gets applied to the total amount in the shopping cart, instead of per each event type(category).

example

Add both events to cart and select 5 Event A items.(So far so good, Volume Discount get’s applied.)
Add 1 or more Event B, the discount gets applied to the total. (event B does not have a discount category selected).

2.Discount CODE bigger than price ticket (fixed value) causes issues.

example

select 3 Event B items
apply Discount Code: 500OFF.

I sugest  Discount Codes should  be calculated per sum of all tickets of an event instead of per individual ticket, which i assume is happening right now.

(items_selected x ticket_price)-discount.

If this can be fixed on future version will be great, but i need some basic guidelines on where this gets calculated so i can fix it now, until it get a applied in a release.

3. Discount CODE + Seating Cart Event + Multievent Registration + Authorize.net. The discount amount shows up on the payment page, but Authorize.net shows full price payed.

Also on the payment page for the Seating Cart Event, a total is necessary, specially to show the discount applied.

Note. Latest version of wordpress/EE plugin and addons.

The example install uses a fresh instalation of wordpress and only EE with multievent registratio + Volume Discounts.

Thank you, John.

Sorry for the double post,

After more testing I can confirm that Discount Codes, even though they show up, don’t get applied on the seated events.
