Hi again, about a month ago I tried making all my original discount codes ALL CAPS, but nothing seems to be working. I can not get my discount codes to work on my events.
The general settings are set to “Yes” for the “Allow discounts in the shopping cart?” and the individual events are set to allow all discounts, even globals. I’ve tried all of the different available options in the event set up, nothing seems to work.
Help?
No. And as a test I have tried creating the same code in all forms, I created an “fpp” code, an “FPP” code and an “Fpp” code, because nothing was working, but no go.
I am using the shopping cart. The “Display Registration Form” is set to no, and the “Allow group registrations?” is set to yes. I have various codes, I can not get any of them to work. I have deactivated the Event Espresso plugin then reactivated already.
We have been able to reproduce this and are working on a fix, I have added a note to the ticket to update this thread once complete.
It seems this bug affects some users when using Global promo codes and Multi Event Registration (MER). As a workaround if you change the the Promo Code to NOT be global, then within the event use the promo option ‘Global & Specific Promo Codes’, select the Non-promo code so that it applies to the event and this should allow the code to work.
We will release an update to fix this asap.
