I’m experiencing problems with my discount codes being accepted. I’ve deactivated then reactivated Event Espresso, I’ve checked all my settings, I believe it began happening when the “global discounts” were added.
I’ve even tried to delete then re-create a new promo code with the same name . . . it’s just not consistently working. Sometimes on my cart window I can type in a discount and it will work. But if I erase it, refresh the total, and try to enter any other code, even the original code, it is not working. I’ve been getting comments from guests for about a week that the codes are not working for them. I even tried creating different versions (cap/lower case) of the same code, thinking it might be case sensitive. I’ve made each of the new codes global, and tried every option in the event setting about what discount codes to include, I can’t get a working fix. Help?

Can you try making the codes all caps? Usually if you try to use a code, then delete it in the promo code box it will not work.

OK, thanks . . . when you say “try making the codes all caps” do you mean the created codes on the back end, or when guests are actually typing the code in on the event page?

On the back end and when you enter the code on the event page.
