Can this happen? -> If those who register at the event is an agency, I would like that when you click on the checkbox “Sei un agenzia?” is applied a discount of 8%

I attach a screenshot

Is it possible? Is there a custom function to accomplish this result?

Hi Marco,

You would need to customise the plugin to achieve that.

You can of course turn on the “Allow discounts in the cart” option in the General Settings, and use a Promo code to achieve the discount.

Hi Marco,

The Price Modifier Add-on does some of what you need.

It allows you to create questions which can modify the price of an event. Currently it does not support percentages so it would need to be a fixed discount (so a new question for each event with a different price)

It is currently available through the Pre-release channel

Thanks Dean and Tony. I have installed Price Modifier and I have some questions:

1) Is it possible to enter the discount in %?

2) The “Price modifier” works with “Multiple Event Registration”?

3) If “Price modifier” doesn’t work, is it possible to use Event Espresso Volume Discount only if a condition is true?
That is, if the user clicks on the radio button “Yes” is applied the discount, if the user click on the radio button “No”, no discount is applied.
Perhaps this is achievable with Jquery? Could you give me some tips?

Hi,

1) Not currently no.

2) Again, as it is still in beta it does not work with Multiple Event Registration, sorry.

3) That isn’t the way it works. It is a conditional plugin, but it works off of other conditions, mainly the number of tickets or a price level.

It isn’t actually achievable with jQuery. Problem is if you modify the price outside of the scope of the plugin – such as with jQuery – the plugin will react to that as a hack attempt and ignore it.

If Price Modifier isn’t suitable for your situation which it sounds like it isn’t, then we are back at a customisation job.
