Hi Guys,
I would like to buy your plugin but first I need to make sure for some things:
1. We plan to start events on our site, and those events can be all over US and they need to show the time zone where event will be (for example if the event is in Las Vegas it should show PST). Does this plugin offer this service?
2. Can we insert HTML code inside the events or is it only wordpress based?
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Mitko
The Time Zone display would need to be added as it’s not a standard feature. One way to add this would be to add the timezone like PST into a custom field (really a meta key/value like timezone -> PST) in the event editor and alter the event display templates to add the the value of the key to display in the template. Some PHP skills would be required to make this change.
With #2, it depends on what HTML you want to add. In most cases the WordPress editor in text will allow HTML to be entered into the editor box. Even if there isn’t a quick tag in the editor bar for an element it most likely can be added (like divs and spans)
Hi Josh,
Thanks for the quick reply. Do you offer “help” support for this kind of customization? When put timezone to display as you mentioned above, would it be fixed for all events or it can be changeable for different events (for example one event is EST, other is PST, third is MST…)?
Best Regards,
Mitko
Josh’s example requires you to add in the time zone into a field in each event manually, but it will display whatever you add into that field on the event itself.
