Hi,

I’m about to start a refresh of my website and will most likely do this locally before going live with the new site.

Will I be able to use EE on the development version of my site at the same time as running EE on the live version of my current site?

Many thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Yes you can use Event Espresso locally, just do not input your license key into the version you run locally, difference being that you will need to do any updates manually :)

No Problem.

Just to note, when you do change over to the live site again, if the domain changes, your license key will need to be reset also.

It’s not an issue, just something to be aware of.
