i’d like to determine if the event detail page is being show (e.g. if(even_detail_page): //do something endif; is this possible?

Hi,

To clarify, you are wanting to do something on the single event registration page?

If so, why not just edit the template for those (event_registration.php and event_registration_display.php)?

These can be copied to uploads/espresso/templates to stop updates from over writing them.

Other than that there is no hook as yet to tell if you are on that page or not. Versions of Event Espresso post 4.0 will have more hooks to use.

Dean, thanks for the reply…. yeah… i could do that, but it’s not in keeping with how i’m building out the site.  now that i know that it’s definitely not possible i’ll have to rethink some things.

i really wish i came into this whole ee plugin after the 4.0 release.  it seems to be the answer to many woes.   this plugin doesn’t seem to take advantage of wp’s native capabilities.  maybe 4.0 will address this.

Hi Chris,

Yes in some ways the plugin doesnt take advantage of some of WordPress’ features and we are redressing that issue.

If you have time and desire, you can always download the PreRelease for 4.0 de-caffineited from the Pre Release channel and have a play with it on a dev server (needs to be a fresh server/database).
