Hello everyone, Displaying on our current event is the title “Description:,” however there is no text following the title. *We’ve entered text in both the Rich Text Editor, plus in the Excerpt field, however nothing shows beneath “Description:” [http://www.itc.mb.ca/events/jigs-fixtures-for-robotics/] My first thought was to hide it using CSS, however there are no classes or ID’s for this item currently, it is pure HTML: <p> As well, where is the Excerpt text supposed to be displaying? I don’t recall any “display: none” being implemented for the Excerpt fields. Thanks, Betty
Hi Betty, I just want to double check — the description that appears at the end of the events is for the event venue. Was the information added there? —
Hi Lorenzo, No, the text wasn’t something we’d added, I checked both the Rich Text Editor, as well as in the Excerpt. -Betty
Hi Betty, Is this happening in EE4 or EE3? If you are using EE4, are you using the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode? There is currently an issue when looking at the page that has that shortcode. You should use the /events page to view the events listings in EE4.
Hi Jonathan, The last event we’d had is over, and there are currently no other events to display. We’re running EE 4.1.10.reg, and the events are displaying from the URL(s) /events/, we’re not using the shortcode(s). -Betty
Hi Betty, The description are that you are referring to is for an event venue. Did you add any information to the description or excerpt for the venue that is associated with this event? —
Hi Lorenzo, Got it!! That is for the Venue’s Excerpt text!! -Betty
