When creating an event that also creates a post at the same time, is it possible to define two seperate default pages ?….i.e;
Event = Event Default
Post = Post Default
Hi Dean, yes of course; i think i have sorted it now actucually by using the Genesis Layout Extra plugin where we can set default layouts by page or post. The events are created as a page, so we set this differently to post layouts.
We add a new event and use the ‘create a post’ tool to create a blog post at the same time. The event & post use our theme default page layout, but i’d like to use different page layouts for them without having to edit the post and change the layout after it has been created.
Like i say, all sorted now but thanks for the quick response.
Glad you found a solution. From an EE perspective, you would set the page template for the main EE page (default is Event Registration), but that would affect the registration list as well as the individual pages, but the post layout would be different.
Anyway, I’m glad you got it sorted!
