Just updated to the latest version. When scanning the QR code from an email with the Event Espresso App, I keep getting the “Declined – Attendee Already Checked In” screen even though the attendee has not checked in. The back-end Attendee Reports page displays the test attendee has 0/1. Once I’ve moved on from the “Declined – Attendee Already Checked In” screen, the Attendee Reports page then displays the test attendee as 1/1. Am I missing something? Help?

Hi Raymond,

Can you let us know which version of the mobile app is installed, and which version of the API is installed on your website?

This information will help narrow down the issue. Thanks.

Hi Raymond,

Thanks for the info. I checked on this and I am finding the same thing happen on my test site. I will need to check with one of the developers to find out if this is an issue that needs to be fixed in the API or in the ticketing add-on or if there’s something we both are missing here.

Hi,

We have a fix in place it is just undergoing testing before being released, of course so long as the testing goes well.

There is a hotfix update for both the Ticketing Add-on and the JSON API now available that fixes this issue.

Hi Josh and Dean,

Thanks for the update. I’ve updated the plugins to:
Event Espresso: v3.1.34.1.P
Event Espresso Ticketing: v2.0.10.2.p
Event Espresso API Plugin: v 2.0.2.p

After further testing, unfortunately I’m still experiencing the same problems.

When testing I’m registering for the event on Firefox v22.0. Then I open the registrant email using mac mail on the iPad. I then open the mobile app (v1.5.8) on an iPhone 4 to scan the QR Code. It reads as”Declined – Attendee Already Checked In”. When I refresh the back-end Attendee Reports page, the registrant name changes from 0/1 to 1/1.

On a side note when using the mobile app, when I hit “Check-in” within the registrants Attendee Info page, it displays “Adding of date checked-in failed:”. Then when “Refreshing Attendees”, a check mark then displays beside the registrants name to show that I’ve checked them in.

Hopefully the additional info helps a little. If you need me to try anything else feel free to let me know. Thanks again for the support and quick follow up!

Hi Raymond,

Can you try deactivating the ticketing add-on, then reactivating?

That did the trick! Thanks again for your help. Kudos to the Support and Dev team!
