In 3.1.21P (and also 24.1p)how come the dashboard_widget.php only shows today’s events on the dashboard? Is there a way to show all future ones also as in earlier versions?
Set the number of days to however many days into the future you’d like displayed in the widget. This setting can be found in Event Espresso>General Settings:
Josh – I tried that. Right now it is set at 30 days. I have 53 active events for this month yet I only see one event (an event happening today) that shows. The on/off toggle works OK.
Try adjusting that number to see if that makes a difference. I’m not able to reproduce this on any of my test sites.
You could try setting wp_debug to true to see if there is a PHP error where that widget loads. This can be set in the wp-config.php. There should be a setting that says:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
All you do is change that to say true instead of false, then save. Then reload the dashboard page and look for an error message after that first event.

I just looked at your site and you are running an old version of Event Espresso. The dashboard widget received some fixes in a recent update, so I would recommend updating to the most recent version of Event Espresso from your account page before continuing with any other troubleshooting.
I have updated to the latest version and dashboard still only shows today’s events not future ones. Any chance you can look at my site again to determine what is wrong?
