I want some boxes like the price box to not appear. And I want to change the default settings of many of the dropdowns. Is this possible?

Hi Edward,

We generally do not offer customization help when it comes to altering core functionality of the plugin. What you can do to hide the price box is add your own CSS. There was a similar thread where we discussed how to use the nth child selector to hide specific elements of the event editor:
