Hello EE Support, I was wondering how I can edit the default on the forms such as “Member Only Event” and “Registration Now Closed” ..

Hi,

There are 3 options.

Change the language files – here is a guide on how to do that http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-change-wording-with-poedit/

Change the text via a function – this is a great function that can dropped into your themes functions.php file and is great for minor modifications http://www.viper007bond.com/2011/07/13/changing-core-wordpress-strings/

Edit the registration_page.php and registration_page_display.php files – these files have the original strings (text) for the messages so its a case of finding them and editing them. It is recommended to copy (both!) files to

wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates

directory and edit them there, that way if an update occurs your changes will not be over written, allowing you to easily update them if required.
