Is there a way to customize the font type for confirmation emails?

Would like to use Helvetica instead of Times

Email styling has to be done as in-line styles. So you can add your styles right in the message html.

I have very limited coding skills. Does that mean I just need add the code in the actual HTML tab?

Right.

Styling HTML emails can be a challenge but in-line styles are more reliable.
