The new feature with Event Search that shows a page of results is fantastic. I have a question, however, on how to control the information shown. Can the results page pull a template from the custom files in uploads/templates to display the results rather than the default Event List view (I want to show the Event Description in the result and not sure of the best way to add that in). What is the best way to do this without hacking the core?
And secondly, what is the most effective way to hide the quick view that pops up when someone begins to type in the event search box? (I understand I may need to hack the shortcodes.php file)
Resolved it. Just move the event_list.php and event_list_display.php to the uploads/espresso/templates folder and customize. Simple.
To hide the quick dropdown view of the results when someone types, you can get around this with some CSS:
.ui-autocomplete.ui-menu {display: none !important;}
