Is it possible to customise the layout, or information shown/displayed, on the Events that are shown in the Calendar?

I’d like to show Staff and Location information on the Events in the Calendar and would like to know if we can modify the information that’s shown.

Hi Mark,

It’s possible but it would be a core code edit, meaning that updates to the calendar would over write the changes.

Will there be any option for this in the future? Is it possible now to enable it with a patch or hook, so I can write my own function to hook into that.
I’d rather not change anything to the source code, as it could break everything, but if you can point me out to the location where I would edit it, if I would still want to, I can look at it.

Hi Mark,

It can certainly be added to our feature list, but currently there are no hooks/filters in place and the function governing it is not pluggable, so it would be a direct core edit.
