Would like to know if the following is possible with Event Espresso before buying.

Custom Fields

When registering for events, there are options for individuals.
Eg: Name, Contact Number, Email, DOB, etc

If user is buying for a group (under a company), is it possible to make additional fields compulsory?
Eg: Company Name, Company Address, etc

Can there be a checkbox for agreeing to terms before submitting the registration form?

Thanks in advanced.

Hi Michael,

Yes. This is possible by creating questions and question groups, then assigning them to the primary and additional attendees.

Yes. You can set a terms and conditions checkbox that can be set to required.

Let us know if you have anymore questions.

Great thanks for the reply.
Will the Personal License be enough for doing these things?

If at some point I require more features, is an upgrade to the Business License available?

The personal license is enough for what you are asking about. The license upgrades have more to do with getting more add-ons bundled together and volume discounts on multiple site licenses.

I’ve bought a personal license, but I don’t understand how to put the extra questions.

Example
If a person registers for himself, he needs to enter:
Name, Contact Number, Email, DOB

If a person registers for a group, he needs to enter:
Company Name, Company Address + each of the registrants Name and DOB

I’m also not sure how to set a terms & conditions checkbox.

Any help?

Hi Michael,

At this time there is no way to separate individual and group questions, you would need to add 2 question groups and use the labels to separate them as individual or group questions.

A guide for adding a T&C question can be found here http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-require-attendees-to-agree-to-a-policy-before-being-allowed-to-register/
