On your event listing support page, you mentioned under “Create a Post/Page”, that you can change the custom post type by going to : Event Espresso > Settings > General.

I didn’t see that there or anywhere else on my EE 3.1.25.P. Has that option been depreciated?

I want to use custom pages instead of post…. I couldn’t change the setting anywhere.

I don’t think the page post type ever worked, so it was removed as an option. Currently there are two options, the Espresso event post type, and the standard WP post. You’ll need to enable the “Use custom post types” feature in Event Espresso>Template settings to use the Espresso Event post type.
