How do I have the conformation emails show up as being sent from my business name, not “WordPress”?

Hello Russell,

In the General Settings of Event Espresso, under Email Settings, change “Use fancy email headers?” to “Yes”. That should do it.

Hi Russell,

There is a setting in Event Espresso>General Settings under “Email Settings” labeled “Use fancy email headers?”. That can be set to yes and it will display the organization name you’ve entered as the from name in the email.

Thank you! I saw that that might not be received by some email servers, is does this happen often?

It depends on the server and can also happen if there are other plugins that alter the email mime types sent out with the wpmail() function. You’ll want to run a test after switching the setting to verify it still works.
