Hello :-)

Is there some way of creating a global eg. all events created in EE?

So if i created the following:
—————————–
Recurring Event 1. HTML Code Course
– Price: 1000 , Event Promotion: 200 until 20-03-2014
Recurring Event 2. CSS Code Course
– Price: 1200 , Event Promotion: 200 until 20-03-2014
Recurring Event 3. Javascript Code Course
– Price: 1500 , Event Promotion: 200 until 20-03-2014

Can i give “all my event” a global promotion as in an “opening discount”. So lets say a 26% discount?

Its very important to note that, the event promotion for the events are set to actual money and not procentage.

BUT… the global promotion eg. all my events have to be in procentage.

Can i make that kind of discount to all my events in procentage?

And i forgot to add..

If the event already have a event promotion discount in actual money, will that discount be added to the global discount (if that is possible to make) ?

Hi Morten,

Global discount such as these are not available within Event Espresso currently.

‘Early bird discounts’ as we call them would be discounts that apply up to a certain date and can be either Value or Percentage amounts, however whilst you can set these per individual event, you can not set these can not be applied globally at this time.

I will add this to our feature request list for future versions of Event Espresso but I can not comment on if/when it will be included.

Hope that helps :)

Ok i understand.

But if i create a Global PromoCode, and put that to an event. IT tells me the word “global”. Does that mean global for the event and/or the recurring events, OR does it mean GLOBAL as in “all events created” ?

All events created.

OK sp all events created no matter the event name. IF i create a Global Promo Code, with the code of “gogodiscount”. A text field will appear on all events created where i can input the code “gogodiscount”, and get a discount?

It will work on all Events that accept Promo codes yes.

Within each event you can set if that Event accepts promotion codes or not. Global promo codes are codes that apply to any event that accepts promo codes. http://take.ms/uJ6Q4
