Copy Contact Address as Billing Address

After a user enters their contact information, can we provide an option to copy this to the address fields that the payment vendor will use? With my customers, these two addresses may or may not be the same.

We don’t have any off-the-shelf code to do so, but I wouldn’t think it would take a developer more than an hour to whip up a little jQuery to place the button and attach a listener to it to copy the fields when the button is clicked. This is a case where it is easier to write the code if it is specific to that form.

Could you also point to what process I’ll need to use? An action hook? wp_enqueue_script? I’m not a stranger to JavaScript, but I’m new to getting this into WordPress.

To answer you could add it to the payment_page.php template wrapped in script tags.
