I’m using the Event Espresso to handle the entry of event registrations on our website. I currently do not have payment/registration confirmations come from EE as wll of the confirmations are sent from our CRM. Is there a way for me to receive notification when someone submits a registration to alert me that I need to process the order through our CRM system? It seems like this used to happen, but it no longer is. Please let me know, and thank you in advance.
Unless you’ve modified the core code, even if the emails from Event Espresso are turned off, you should still receive an admin notification for registrations. What version of Event Espresso are you running and do you have anything in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates or have you made changes to the code to work with your CRM at all?
We use Mandrill internally which isn’t really a CRM but does allow you to track all the emails sent and where they were sent from. We’ve actually built a non-Event Espresso-related plugin that integrates Mandrill into WordPress available right now on the Pre-Release channel.
Thanks for this. It looks as though mandrill will integrate with a CRM anyway, so that could be the link in the chain.
It’s all a bit above my head, but I think it might be enough to get a developer involved.
Thanks.
