This is the email confirmation back to the user/registree:

Congratulations! You have successfully reserved a spot for NUMBER person(s) on the Green Flash Brewery Tour taking place on

I don’t believe I have modified that file in any way. Please help.

Hello,

I cannot see which version of Event Espresso you are running, but the default confirmation email in the recent versions does not contain that sort of wording, which leads me to believe you are using a custom email.

Also there is currently no standard shortcode for adding the number of attendees to an email, though there is a coding workaround being discussed in this thread https://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/custom-email-number-of-persons-registered/
