I would like to integrate the Espresso Members and Espresso Multiple into the landing page of my site. I created a theme using Artiseer for how I want the site to look. There are more specific instructions on the actual screenshot here: http://greengigs.biz/ezcelebrationsnew/screenshotforforum.jpg. I am not able to find where to add any short codes or where to hack into the templates and then set up for members logging in without going into the WordPress dashboard. Any hint of help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,

Espresso Members doesnt create a user login or manage that aspect, it helps integrate EE and the WP users (the add ons real name is WP User Integration) allowing you to set member prices and autofill certain information for the logged in user.

I would suggest using the standard login screen, and make it front end, and if you dont want the users to see the dashboard, redirect them to the front page or specific page. There may well be tutorials or plugins that can do this for you.

Regarding the question in the image about the search functionality, we have a search shortcode [EVENT_SEARCH] that may assist here, but I think you may need some custom development to tie the system you outlined in the image with EE.

Hi Dean,

Thanks for the quick reply. Would you recommend S2member then for this as I believe it would take care of the login/member registration end of it?

Is the [Event-Search] plugin flexible enough to modify or would I need custom development? What is a ball park estimate for customizing this feature?

Thanks

Hey Scott,

We do recommend S2Member, we use it ourselves.

Regarding the [EVENT_SEARCH] being flexible enough, my gut feeling is, for the use you are planning no its not flexible enough and would need to be modified or something else built.

We are not taking on custom development currently, but if you need to contact us regarding it you can do so via here http://staging.eventespresso.com/contact/customization-request-form/. I can’t give estimates only sales/dev can do that.

We are still in the process of getting together a list of recommended third party developers, but in the mean time you could try here http://jobs.eventespresso.com/
