hi. presale question…

My client is a high school that has a number of prospective student events — a) one open house for a few hundred people, b) guided campus tours for up to 10 people at a time, and c) full-day visits, also for a limited number of people at a time.

I’d like to allow people to register for 1 or more of those 3 events, and for the tour and visit, to pick from a list of available dates/times.

I’d also like all of these options to be on one page, so the user doesnt need to go back and forth between calendars and pages.

Additionally, I need to limit the number of available “tickets” for the tours, so that no more than 10 will be “sold” for each tour date/time. (everything is free)

Will event espresso give me the capability to

a) allow people to register for 3 different EVENTS at one time before checking out (add to cart)
b) limit the number of available spots on a per-event or per-ticket-type basis
c) put all of these tickets/events/options on one page, so that they can select everything they want at once and proceed to checkout only once?

thanks

a) yes, with the Multiple Event Registration add-on, you have a shopping cart to which you can add events.
b) you can limit tickets on a per-event, but not a per-ticket type, basis. So you would want to make each timeslot for which you want to limit ticket sales it’s own event.
c) yes, but I’m not a UI designer, so I’m not sure of the particulars of how you would lay it out. I would imagine using some jQuery effects (see the examples under show() and hide()): http://api.jqueryui.com/category/effects/
