the current registration flow for selecting/buying multiple seats is really cumbersome – ending up with abandoned online registrations.
As I read here: https://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/seating-chart-multiple-seat-selection/ and in more recent posts re: the subject, my understanding is that you cannot currently select multiple seats in one shot, from the seating chart.
This is a serious design flaw from a real world / user perspective, which is all that matters in the end. If people cannot easily purchase /register online in various real-world scenarios, they abandon the process and it does not reflect well on the business.
What can be done to address this in the shortest timeframe possible ? Please let me know when this is scheduled to be implemented.
Thanks
Florian
PS: also, please mention how this would work with the recurring event manager addon (we are still using the v3).
Thanks for taking the time to leave this valuable feedback. I’ve registered your suggestions and we will keep them in mind for future work that goes into the Seating Chart add-on!
