Hi,

I made some changes to the payment_page.php file (and copied that and the payment_overview.php file to my uploads/espresso directory).

But following an update of the EE plug in, changes seem to have been lost.

Since making the changes, but before doing the update, I had to rename the uploads directory. Could that be the issue?

Hi Andrew,

If you renamed the uploads directory, you can go into that directory and the files you made modifications to will still be there. What you will need to do is compare your modified files to the current version’s corresponding files and make any updates to your modified versions. It may be simpler to copy payment_overview.php and payment_page.php from the new version into /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates and add your changes to the new copies, using the older modified templates as a reference.

Hi Josh,

I did that and my changes are back again, thanks.

Strangely I’m now getting a 3 digit number appear to the top of event registration pages now, and at the bottom of the payment page?

Event ID maybe? I would check your modified files against the ones in the plugin. The way we’re echoing things may have changed between versions.

It is the event ID.

I thought that by moving my files to content/uploads/espresso/templates meant that it would be OK when updates were applied?

Hi,

I’m going to log a support request to fix this, so you can mark it as resolved.

Thanks
