changing value of shortcode in conformation email

Hello, i use the shortcode [event_price] in the default confirmation email. If the value is EUR999.00, i would like to replace it with a text like “please see event discription” . I have done this successfully in the list and detail view of the events but i would be happy to get a hint where to modify a value in the email. Thanks!

Hi Nadir,

You can modify the value for that shortcode in event-espresso/includes/functions/email.php.

That specific shortcode’s value is assigned on line 81:

$org_options['currency_symbol'] . $event_cost,
