Is there a way to change the text in the submit buttons? I’m using multi events registration and cant find anywhere to change the text “Confirm and go to payment page »” in the additional information button.

What I’m trying to do is have it change based on if the event is free or not. If the event is free it still says go to payment page even though there is no payment page

You will find that string unter event-espresso/includes/functions/cart.php on line 782.

I use notepad++ as a texteditor, there you can search a whole folder and its subdirectories for text strings :)

Thanks Marko. Is there a way to make changes to those in a way that wont get overridden if the plugin gets updated?

Further to this, can you tell me where the code is to change the text on the Registration form Submit button?  I want to change it to ” Book Now”,

Thanks

@eastendmkt

As far as i know, there is no way stopping the includes files to be overwritten. So you would have to do your changes after every EE-Update. But I’m just a customer too, so the Support Staff can give you a valid answer ;)

Theres the download link for that really cool text editor. There you can click on Search -> Search in Files, and your text string will be found in under one minute :)

Hi Eastendmkt, no those files are core files and cannot be copied anywhere else, so updates will over write them. So make sure you save a copy of the changes.
