Changing Registrant Time produces Error

Hello, our first time using an event with multiple times and seats per time we had a few people completely missing the dropdown to select the time and booking the wrong time. So I noticed from the back end in the attendee data you can select the correct time from the dropdown. However every time I go to save it I get “An Error Occurred. The request failed to pass a security check.
Please press the back button on your browser to return to the previous page.”

Any ideas on what may cause this? How to get past it?
