Hi,

I have 2 promotional codes for an event and when I change from one to another I get the following error message:

“Sorry, promotional code N69SL3F1 is invalid, expired, or can not be used for the event(s) you are applying it to.”

I have to cancel the registration before it will accept the other code.

Could someone explain why this is happening and whether I can prevent it doing so?

Thanks

Nick

Hi Nick,

This is a limitation of the feature, only one code can be entered per registration. There is no workaround for it.

Hi Dean,

Yes, I would have presumed that only one promotional code could be applied per registration, but would have thought that it would be possible to change the code on the cart page without the error message appearing, before confirming the registration. I am sending out different promotion codes to different email lists, and some people may be on more than one list, and so may try to change the code. It’s not a big deal, but might make for a smoother experience for some.

Nick

I understand Nick, there was a recommendation to allow this, but it is not currently being taken up. I will certainly add a +1 from you though.
