I have 2 questions about the confirmation mail.

#1 When I recieve a registration mail, the name of the sender is WordPress. Where can I change that?

#2 The translations to Dutch isn’t correct at some shortlinks that can put into the confirmation mail. Is there a way that I can change that?

Hi Arjan,

If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Under ‘Emails Settings’ you’ll find ‘Use fancy email headers?’.

Set that to Yes and update the settings. This will uses the sites name in place of ‘WordPress’

#2 Can you explain which strings you would like to change? Screenshot maybe?

They should all be within the .PO file.

Hi Tony,

#1 Solved! Thnx!
#2 I only have a *.mo file. I want to change the translation of [invoice_link]. Now I get ‘Download een PDF factuur’ and I want to change that to ‘Download’.

I tried to place a image into this answer, but nothing happend when I click on the img button above this textarea. Sorry.

.mo files are generated from .po files.

You can find updated translation files available on github

Using those files you can then update the .PO file using POEdit which will generate a .MO file.

We have a guide post to guide you through, available here
