Ultimately there will be about 75 classes entered and I want the soonest date to appear on the top. The classes will go from March through October. Right now it lists the classes as I enter them with the newest entered on top. I have tried the short code variations listed in some of the other posts on this forum and could not get them to work. In fact now my list has huge unwanted spaces that were not there originally. (not sure why – I set it back to the original short code)
How can I get this to sort by event date Ascending? And how can I get rid of the extra spaces?
I did get the date problem fixed – I had not used the calendar to select the event date (had just typed it in) When I went back and used the Calendar to select the date it worked correctly. The rest is a mystery. I tried several version of the short code and could not get it right. I put the original code back and now it displays correctly. Not sure why it changed – but as long as it stays I will keep it!
