Good morning,

The color and look of the “Submit” button on the Event Registration page is fine and legible. The “Confirm Registration” button on the Verify Registration page is not legible and blends in with the background of the page (white). We want to change the background color here. What is troubling is that none of these buttons look like the buttons in our themroller theme. We are using “Smoothness” themeroller theme.

We went into the style sheets last night to change the background color of buttons and had no success. Would we edit in the default EE theme or in the themeroller smoothness style theme, or do we need to make edits to both for our changes to appear?

Your insight is much appreciated.

Best,
Megan

Hello Megan,

It certainly doesn’t look like the smoothness theme (its the default I see it a lot!) and on investigating this it looks like the parent theme has some styles that are over ruling the themeroller styles, specifically a file called jquery-ui-1.8.16.custom.css which is in medica-parent/css/md-theme.

To be fair there are probably other styles affecting it as well, but that one is noticeable.

Thanks, I’ve contacted the developer of the theme hopefully there is a safe way to make exceptions for EE content pages so that “smoothness” comes across as it should.

Thanks for the insight,
Megan
