I began working with EE3 about 6 months ago… and it was 80% positive. During my heavy concert season, we got around %15 of online patrons call to order tickets because they could not get registration to proceed to paypal (it would get hung up at the transfer to paypal). I tried everything suggested in the forums – turning plugins off, emptying cache frequently…. granted I have limited knowledge in webdesign, yet I am the one responsible for the website. (yes, it is sad)
Anyway – not that the crazy concert period is over – I took the last suggestion of getting rid of GoDaddy hosting. I’ve not moved everything over to hostingGator and rebuilt the website. I wanted to “Go Live” last week, but I cannot get EE4 to function properly. I must be doing something wrong. I can get the events list – but I can’t register for anything. Please help…. we’ve got concerts approaching fast!

Rolling back EE to 3… gonna see if that does the trick. If that doesn’t work, I may have to go back to using paypal buttons on the site. I want EE to work SO badly!

Hi Sarah,

Could you tell me what was happening when the registrations were not working?

Any errors or did the page just not do anything?

Lorenzo

Lorenzo – the pages weren’t doing anything. But then I read the add-ons don’t work with EE4 so I’ve rolled back.

Now I’m just trying to get it set up – working again.
