EE v3.1.30-7P
JSON/XML API Version 2.0.0.B

Hi, I installed the plugin by uploading/activating it, just like I’d do for any other plugin.
Then I configured the API Settings as outlined in the API Documentation:
Session timeout: Never
Allow public access: Allow

Testing the JSONAPI, returned the expected HTTP status code 200:
http://sc3.solusio.com/espresso-api/v1/events/public.pretty_json

When accessing
http://sc3.solusio.com/espresso-api/v1/events/public
I get the message: “Sorry, can’t log in – Blog returned invalid data”

When accessing
http://sc3.solusio.com/
I can log in, but no event gets found…

Regards,
Thomas

Forgot to mention:
I am using the EE app dated 24.Sept. 2012, on an iPhone 3GS with iOS6.0.1

Hi Thomas,

The API is still new to me so I’m learning it too.

I get the message: “Sorry, can’t log in – Blog returned invalid data”

I dont see that, I get a 200 OK message from that URL http://d.pr/i/8IfE

What exactly are you trying to do?

Hi Dean,

Let me reformulate my problem description:

Testing the JSONAPI, returned the expected/successful HTTP status code 200 (as you also mentioned in your reply):
http://sc3.solusio.com/espresso-api/v1/events/public.pretty_json

When accessing this URL as endpoint URL in the app, I get:
http://sc3.solusio.com/espresso-api/v1/events/public
I get the pop-up message in the app: “Sorry, can’t log in – Blog returned invalid data”

When accessing this URL as endpoint URL in the app, I get:
http://sc3.solusio.com/
I can log in, but no event gets found…

Maybe the problem here is that I am not using the latest EE-HD app, but the previous non-HD app version?

Thanks, Thomas

Hey guys,

The iPhone and Android apps are not yet compatible with the json api. These apps require the old espresso services api.

Hi Seth,
Where can I get the old espresso services api from?

Hi,
I also tried now with an iPad3 with iOS6, but I still get this logon error.
Please tell me what must be entered into the field “Endpoint URL”?
