Hi!

I have a registration page with the shortcode:

[EVENT_LIST show_secondary=false]

The problem is that this page still shows the waitlist on it, which I don’t want to be visible.

I have followed the waitlist creation instructions and have hidden the main [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] page from navigation.

Any suggestions on what to try as I have had people signup for the waitlist and not the main event already.

Thanks!

Hello,

What version of Event Espresso are you using?

I have set this up on the latest version and with or without the show_secondary=false, the waiting list item is not showing in my event list once it is marked as Waitlist.

Hey,

OK, I have had a look and the settings look identical to what I have on my test server where the waiting list is working.

There are a few concerns though.

1) there is a Javascript error in the theme that could do with being resolved.

2) the Event Espresso plugin looks like it has been modified. If so I would advise you to back up the existing plugin and install a fresh clean version and see if that resolves the issue. If it does then there is something wrong with the modifications.

If the javascript issue and the modified plugin arent to blame, then we will need to reinvestigate the issue.

Thanks for checking in on it! Where are you seeing a javascript error in the theme? I’m not sure where to look for that.

I haven’t modified the plugin at all, just installed the latest version last week. I will backup and reinstall the latest version of it also.

Hey

The JS error is to do with the theme one taber.js is not being found 404. Again may not be an issue but worth looking at or contacting the theme developer on.

Also you have a page called Register, I removed the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode from it as it should only in in one page.

Ok thanks! I will check on upgrading the theme and the problem with the script error and let you know!
