How does one cancel a registration via the admin section? I see references to “Cancellations can be handled by the admin in the backend of the site.”, but can find instructions on how this is done. And, I can am not able able to find a way to mark an attendee as “Canceled”.
There are currently two choices when dealing with cancelled attendees: either delete the attendee or set their payment to pending/incomplete, although that latter option will affect the total number of spaces available unless your event has unlimited spots.
I can see a need for a cancelled option though, so I will be adding this to our feature request list.
Thank you for your response. Is there a way to add an option to the payment status? In addition to pending/incomplete, I would like to add “Canceled” to that dropdown.
A cancel feature would be very helpful. Deleting the registration is problematic from an accounting perspective. If the accounting dept. has a charge and then a credit for a registration, deleting the data in the registration system removes part of the paper trail.
We have added your request to the feature request list. Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you input.
