Using the latest version of EE and ad ons.

I’m trying to style/adjust the search field so that it
A) fits on one line and
B) adjust the overall width ideally in a responsive way

I also notice that immediately above the search field a blank paragraph is being created pushing the search field down the page more than i’d like.

Hi,

Themeroller is used to set a base for the search bar although you can override this with any CSS rules you would like. Can you link to a page with the search bar and we’ll take a look?

Are you loading the search within the Sidebar or content area? It is likely this is caused by your theme as the search bar includes only a div, form and 3 input elements.

Tried adding CSS targetting div id “espresso-search-form-dv” without success

Link is: http://www.digital-demons.co.uk/wp/whats-on/

It’s test site.

Using Search in content area.

To move the submit button to one line use:

#espresso-search-form-dv input {
padding: 0;
}

Any way to adjust the width of the input box?

Scrap that last question – can adjust it, just trying a couple of things…

Should be ok – I’ll just need to put in some mobile specific styling

OK, I’ll mark this as resolved. Thanks.
