Hi,
I’d like to be able to send a custom email to everyone who has attended an event…is that possible?
(without downloading attendee info and doing a bulk mailing – I’d like to do it from with Even Espresso)

Yes and no, you can email attendees on an individual basis or on an event basis, but you cannot email every attendee all at once.

Also you would need to check with your host/host settings about mass emailing, if done incorrectly you could get marked as a spammer.

I would recommend using the Mailchimp addon and setting up an account with them, as they specifically deal with mass emails.

Thanks Dean,
We basically do 5 to 10 events a year and youls like to inform our past event customers about new upcoming shows. That’s all we need it for. Do we still need mailchimp or mailing from EE is fine for that purpose. Is there any subsription box/add on integrated with EE as well?
Peter

Hi,

As mentioned you can do it from EE, its just fairly basic in nature, plus you need to be careful when mass emailing.

EE does have a plugin for Mailchimp, it should be available in your account page.
