Hi,

I’m trying to setup a member zone. So when a student registers and pays for our workshop they are automatically added as a user and given member access to our member only posts. And probably a forum down the road.

I’ve just added the Event Espresso Members Addon. Is this what it will do? I don’t want them to be able to manage events just view the posts.

Hi Ruth,

If you want to control access to more than your Event Espresso events, then you’ll need a separate plugin like s2memeber to manage those restrictions. The WordPress User Integration will give you the controls to only allow people who are logged-in to your website to register, but again that only applies to the Event Espresso events.

Does that make sense?
