I just wanted to double check my understanding of the registration process for a site visitor using Event Espresso. As far as I understand it:
— A user visits the website and selects an event
— They fill out their registration information
— They submit the form, and the EE system adds them to the database and sends them an invoice via email
— They follow the link in that email address to complete the payment process
Does EE support the ability to pay immediately, as part of the registration process? (for example, by redirecting them to Paypal as part of the process). I’d much prefer to avoid having visitors leave the site and have to check their email to pay.
Once the registrant clicks “Confirm Registration” they will be taken to a Payment Overview page where they can make payment before leaving the site. You can also choose to bypass the payment overview page. This will allow you to send your customers directly to the payment gateway of your choice.
