We use EventEspresso for our comedy club shows (events). Each weekend is a different comedian with a list of links to the shows for that weekend. Is it possible to create links or buttons that will expire (disappear or grey out) when the event they are pointing to also expires?

Thanks!

Hi Ken,

If you are using the default event list or the shortcode EVENT_LIST to list out the events, then expired events will automatically be removed from the list unless you have the parameter show_expired=”true” set.

Hi,

Self learning is a good thing!

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#event-list

That link shows all the parameters.

Example.

[EVENT_LIST] this will show all active events

[EVENT_LIST show_expired=”true”] this will show all active AND inactive events.

They will not look any different until you click the event and then a message will show that the event has expired.

To make them greyed out would require some template tweaks (i.e. code changes).
