I just updated from the previous to the newest version of event espresso and all of a sudden this Fatal error appears:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method wpdb::get_charset_collate() in /home/httpd/vhosts/_URL_/httpdocs/wp/wp-admin/includes/schema.php on line 20
Did anyone else experience this, too? Thanks for some tips :) |

| October 3, 2013 at 2:14 am Not seen that before, what version of WordPress are you using? Does the error go away if you manually de-activate the Event Espresso plugin? I would suggest a standard trouble shoot as outlined here (clear cache, disable all plugins etc) http://wordpress.org/support/topic/troubleshooting-wordpress-35-master-list?replies=4 |

| October 3, 2013 at 2:33 am Hey Dean, I saw the masterlist before and now followed these instructions: I downloaded the newest version of wordpress and uploaded everything (besides) the WP-Content Folder into the right Location.
The Admin Panel then Showed up again, but with a different PHP Error, telling my that one of my Plugins is causing several Problems related to the Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare() Problem. Since there was no update available in the WordPress Plugin Menu I searched for it, found an update an installed it manually. This resolved my problem and I hope this helps someone else reading this after facing the same error.
