Hey guys,

I was just wondering if there was a way to display the calendar as a list, but still keep the month selector and all that heading stuff.

I know I could just link to the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] list, but my client would like to display by month and all that, just like the calendar.

Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks.

Also, love the new site! Great job on it!

The calendar add-on is built on the fullcalendar jQuery plugin, which does not have a list view. Someone took a crack at adding a list view to it, and while it does offer an alternative list view, it shows one big list of events instead of a month by month view.

One alternative would be to create a page and place the [EVENT_LIST events_per_page=12] shortcode on it. Adjust the number to your liking. This will display a paginated list of events with links to advance forward and back at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for the reply.

As your alternative would be ok, our client though would still rather have the ability to view by month.

The function wouldn’t really have to work off the jQuery plugin, but instead just query the events by month.

There isn’t a feature outside of the calendar that will display the events by month. If this is something that your client would like to have custom developed, we do offer customization services. If interested, please send a customization request via this form: http://staging.eventespresso.com/contact/customization-request-form/
