If  i activate the calendar plugin it breaks all functions on the widgets page. but as soon as i disable it everything work again. What would this plugin be conflicting with?

I have wordpress version 3.5.1

Event Espresso – 4.0.1.beta.8

Event Espresso – Calendar Version 2.0.6 and Version 2.0.6.b2 ( both with the same results ) worked fine a few hours  ago but have just stopped

Hi,

You are trying to use the plugin with Event Espresso 4.0 Beta. It wont work or at best will cause issues. The Beta version is not compatible with 3.1.X add ons and currently there are no available add ons for it.

We strongly recommend not to use the Beta version on a live production site.

Hi,

4.0 should be out of beta very shortly. I could find no open tickets from the developers but they may want to add some more stuff to it. When it is out of Beta the add ons will still not be available straight away.
